Job Overview:
Are you an experienced Social Worker looking to take on a senior role without the burden of a caseload? We are seeking a Senior Practitioner for a locum contract, offering an attractive hourly rate of £33.30. This unique position focuses on reducing the number of children in care, providing a variety of rewarding tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct SGO Part 1 assessments and create support plans.
- Perform parenting assessments.
- Collaborate with allocated Social Workers to progress discharges for children.
- Provide expert support to ensure the effective and timely reduction of children in care.
- Engage in diverse tasks aimed at supporting family stability and permanency.
Requirements:
- Social Work England registration is essential.
- Extensive experience in social work, particularly in areas related to assessments and family support.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively alongside other Social Workers.
- Excellent assessment, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
