Role: As an Adoption Children's Social Worker, you will be at the heart of our efforts to match children with their forever families. You will work closely with prospective adoptive parents, children, and other professionals to facilitate successful and lasting adoptions. This is a full-time, locum role based in London, with hybrid working options available.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children and prospective adoptive families.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to children and adoptive families throughout the adoption process.
- Prepare and maintain detailed case records and reports.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- A degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children's social work, preferably within adoption services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work independently.
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to improving the lives of children.
