About the Role

Rochdale Council is seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our Safeguarding Team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families by ensuring their safety and well-being through effective safeguarding interventions.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Providing expert support and guidance to social workers within the safeguarding team.

• Managing complex cases, ensuring high standards of practice and compliance with statutory requirements.

• Undertaking risk assessments, developing safeguarding plans, and contributing to child protection conferences and court proceedings.

• Working collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to deliver the best outcomes for children and families.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in safeguarding and child protection.

• Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
