Are you an experienced and skilled social worker with a passion for supporting children and families? We are looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join our Children in Need Team in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role in a dedicated team, helping to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Manage a complex caseload of children in need, ensuring that each case is handled with the utmost care, sensitivity, and professionalism.

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior social workers, sharing your expertise and helping to develop their skills and knowledge.

  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and create detailed care plans that meet the specific needs of each child and family.

  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with other agencies, such as schools, health services, and the police, to provide a coordinated approach to supporting children in need.

  • Safeguarding: Take the lead in safeguarding matters, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to emergencies and crises involving children, providing immediate support and devising long-term solutions.
