Advanced Practitioner – Assessment Team - Bolton Council
Location: Bolton
Pay/Salary: up to £40 per hour
Office Working: 3 Days per week
Contract: Locum
We are currently working with Bolton Council to find an Advanced Practitioner for their Assessment Team within Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Bolton are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload, alongside mentoring and supporting NQSWs and less experienced Social Workers. The office base, that is in Castle Hill, has free parking.
Duties
- Carry out needs led child focused assessments
- Hold a caseload of single assessments (S17) and S47 investigations
- Participate in the duty system, responding to safeguarding concerns
- Prioritise demand and make effective use of time
- Listen and promote the voice of the child
- Supporting and mentoring NQSWs and less experienced Social Workers
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
