Are you an advanced practitioner with an eye for detail and a passion for making a difference?

We are on the lookout for an experienced and talented Advanced Practitioner to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team of a vibrant East Midlands local authority.

This role offers an exciting chance to join a fast-paced and vibrant working environment and make your mark on a crucial service. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessments and interventions to vulnerable children and young people and their families.

The successful candidate will have the relevant qualifications, a valid Social Work England registration and a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the current legislation and theories of child protection and welfare. A comprehensive knowledge of local and national safeguarding procedures and the ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions are also essential.

You should be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You must be able to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate competence in managing a caseload of complex cases.

The position is office-based and the hours are from 8.30am to 4.50pm. A competitive rate of £37 per hour is on offer.
