Are you an experienced Social Worker with a passion for safeguarding and supporting children and families? Rochdale Council is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join their Safeguarding and Support Team, offering the chance to work within a forward-thinking and supportive local authority.
About the Role:
As an Advanced Practitioner within the Safeguarding and Support Team, you will provide high-quality supervision and guidance to social workers, lead on complex cases, and contribute to the strategic development of services. This role is perfect for a skilled practitioner who thrives on managing complex cases and supporting colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on complex safeguarding cases, providing expert oversight and direction.
- Deliver high-quality supervision and support to social workers, promoting best practice.
- Undertake robust assessments and interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Collaborate effectively with multi-agency partners to support families and manage risk.
- Contribute to service development initiatives, promoting innovation and improvement in safeguarding practices.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to court reports, demonstrating professionalism and expertise.

Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
