Pay: £43 per hour
Contract: Full-Time Locum Contract

Job Overview:

Are you an experienced Social Worker with strong leadership skills? We are seeking an Assistant Social Work Team Manager to join our Edge of Care team on a locum contract, offering a competitive hourly rate of £43.00. This role involves supporting vulnerable families and children at risk of entering care, playing a vital role in preventative services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the Edge of Care team, providing leadership and support.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement intervention strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor social workers, ensuring high standards of practice.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and interventions.
  • Work closely with families and other stakeholders to prevent the need for children to enter care.

 

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration is essential.
  • Proven experience in social work, with a focus on preventative services or edge of care work.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality support to families and children.
