Are you a highly experienced Child Protection Conference Chair looking for an exciting and rewarding role?

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in Central London, where your skills and experience will be used to provide a vital quality assurance role in safeguarding Children at risk of significant harm.

You will work closely with Social Workers, families and other agencies to build a child protection plan that is purposeful and safeguards the children. You will use your skills in multi-agency working, developing child-focused CP plans, understanding dispute resolution and escalation processes and challenging professional agencies. Your management and motivational skills will be essential when leading and managing a multi-agency team.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in chairing child protection conferences, as well as previous management experience working within child safeguarding services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as the ability to work with virtual conferencing platforms.

This role offers competitive pay of up to £42ph, with the added benefit of only needing to attend the office for Independent Child Protection Conferences and no other expectation to work in the office.
