Child Protection Social Worker - Berkshire

Role:  Qualified Social Worker
Location:  Berkshire
Team:  Child Protection
Pay:  Up to £35 per hour
Contract:  Full Time Locum

Our Local Authority client in Berkshire is currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Child Protection team in Children’s Services.  The team there is stable with good management and although busy, regular supervision and support is available from the management team.

As a Qualified Social Worker on the Child Protection team in Berkshire, you will need to have at least 1 year post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Qualified Social Worker for this role in Berkshire you will also need:

HCPC Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be working on long term child protection cases, some of which will be already in Court. You will be required on occasion to initiate care proceedings and work closely with your family to ensure you support and guide them through the process.
