Rate: £38 per hour

Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker ready to make a real impact in children’s lives? We’re looking for a committed professional to join the Child Protection Team in Maidstone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complex caseload involving child protection, children in need, and care proceedings

  • Complete assessments, develop care plans, and work directly with children and families

  • Participate in case conferences, reviews, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings

  • Ensure all work is compliant with statutory regulations and best practice standards

  • Work in partnership with families and professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children

Requirements:

  • Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, Diploma SW, or equivalent)

  • Registration with Social Work England

  • Proven experience in child protection and statutory children’s social care

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service

  • Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
