Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Do you have experience in court work and are keen to contribute to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children? We are looking for a skilled Children and Families Social Worker to join our Court Team within a dynamic Local Authority in South West England, Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of complex child protection and care proceedings.

Prepare high-quality, evidence-based reports for court.

Attend and give evidence in family court, working closely with legal professionals.

Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams to support positive outcomes for children.

Liaise with partner agencies including health, education, and police.

Ensure all work is compliant with legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker (degree in Social Work or equivalent).

Registered with Social Work England.

Proven experience in child protection, family court work, and care proceedings.

Strong assessment and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.

Excellent communication and report writing skills.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
