Title: Children in Care - Social Worker

Hourly Rate: Up to £38 per hour

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Children in Care Social Worker to join a well-established team in Broadstairs, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives while working with a supportive and collaborative team.

About the Role:

• Manage a caseload of looked after children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development.

• Develop and implement care plans that promote stability and positive outcomes.

• Conduct statutory visits, assessments, and reviews in line with legal and procedural frameworks.

• Work closely with multi-agency partners, including foster carers, schools, and health professionals.

• Prepare reports and attend court proceedings where required.

• Advocate for children and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.

About You:

• Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).

• Registered with Social Work England.

• Experience working with looked after children in a statutory setting.

• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004.

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
