Cardiff Council are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their Child Health and Disability Team (CHAD). This is a Full-Time Locum Social Work role based in Cardiff.
About The Role:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the Child Health & Disability Team. As part of this team, you will complete Wellbeing Assessments, child protection enquires and develop and review care and support plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside a multi-agency team of professionals, in partnership with families.
- To use the Signs of Safety approach to underpin social work practice
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective systems to ensure quality services.
- Complete Wellbeing Assessments, child protection enquiry and develop and review care and support plans.
- Attendance at Child Protection Conferences, Children who are Looked After Review and Court may be required.
- Provide specialist advice and support across the wider children’s services team in respect to children with additional needs.
- Demonstrate a high level of good quality written and verbal practice.
About You:
To apply for this role, you will need to be an experienced social worker with at least 2 years post qualification experience ideally CWD or safeguarding services.
BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Care Wales (SCW).
