Social Worker – Children’s Safeguarding Team

Type: 3 Month Rolling Contract

Rate: £37.00 p/h

Work Arrangements: Hybrid

Havering Council is recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join their dynamic and supportive Children’s Safeguarding Teams. These teams are focused on making a real difference in the lives of children and families across the borough.

Key Focus Areas:

• Children in Need casework (CIN)
• Children and Families (Domestic Abuse)
• Child Protection (CP)

Your role will primarily involve safeguarding children within their families, progressing CIN and CP plans, and improving outcomes for children and families through effective and compassionate casework.

Requirements:

• Social Work England (SWE) registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social work with children and families, including assessments and statutory work
