Social Worker – Child in Need Team - Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council
Location: Cable Plaza, Dudley
Pay/Salary: up to £41 per hour
Office Working: 2-3 Days per week
Contract: Locum
We are currently working with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Transformation Project Team. The successful candidate will be undertaking timely, high-quality assessments and delivering focused intervention with children and families. The purpose of this team is to provide timely intervention that will meet the needs of children and families and enable step across to early help support and partnership led support and planning.
Duties
- Completing Section 17 Child and Family Assessments to identify needs, risks and strengths.
- Develop and implement focused plans to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Monitor progress against CIN plans and review interventions.
- Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals - school, health, early help services.
- Support families to develop their strengths, and achieve positive, sustainable change.
- Facilitate step-down arrangements to Early Help and partnership led support, where statutory intervention is no longer required.
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
