Consultant Social Worker – Assessment Team – London
Location: London Borough of Merton
Pay/Salary: Up to £57,402 + £4,500 Golden Hello
Office Working: Hybrid
Contract: Permanent
We are currently working with the London Borough of Merton to find a Consultant Social Worker for their Assessment team in Children's Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Merton is looking for someone with solid experience to pick up a small caseload whilst supporting less experienced social workers.
Duties
- Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
- Conducting Initial Assessments
- Working in a fast paced team
- Participate in strategy meetings where necessary
- Children and Family Assessments
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
- Experience in a Referral and Assessment or similar service
