Job Overview:

Are you a dedicated and qualified Social Worker looking for a flexible locum role? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Child Protection (CP), Child In Need (CIN), and Public Law Outline (PLO) team. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £40.00 and provides a balanced mix of office and remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload within the CP, CIN, and PLO team, ensuring high-quality support and intervention.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and implement effective interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Be present in the office 2 days per month and during duty week; otherwise, work remotely or in the office as preferred.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration is essential.
  • Proven experience in child protection, child in need, and public law outline processes.
  • Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a hybrid working environment.
