Experienced Social Worker – Locality Team – Nottingham City Council

Location: Loxley House, Nottingham
Pay/Salary: up to £38 per hour
Office Working: 3 days per week
Contract: Locum

We are currently working with Nottingham City Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their locality team in Children’s Services.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced social worker to work across Assessment, Children in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases, with a primary focus on Care Proceedings.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases.
• Undertake assessments, care planning, and direct work with children and families.
• Lead and contribute to care proceedings, including preparing court reports and attending hearings.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding and support for children and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, child protection conferences, reviews, and court proceedings.

What you need

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
