Social Worker – Children with Disabilities Team - Nottingham City Council
Location: Nottingham
Pay/Salary: up to £38 per hour
Office Working: 3 Days per week
Contract: Locum
We are currently working with Nottingham City Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Children with Disabilities Team within Children’s Services. Through their new Target Operating Model, Nottingham are strengthening early intervention, reducing unnecessary handovers and enabling a range of skilled workers to build meaningful relationships with families from the earliest stage of their journey through to permanence.

Duties

Undertake statutory visits and completing S17 Assessments and S47s, parenting and sibling assessments, evaluating needs of the child and family.

Developing care plans for children and families, including provisions such as respite and short breaks.

Working closely with partner agencies, such as Health, Education, and Police.

Chair CIN, Core Group and professionals’ meetings, as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
