Gloucestershire Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Fostering and Kinship team. Key Responsibilities

Complete Special Guardianship and Connected Carer assessments

Undertake Form F fostering assessments
-
Support connected carers and foster carers throughout the process

Work closely with children’s social workers to support permanence planning
-
Attend and contribute to fostering panels and care planning meetings
Candidate Requirements
-
Social Work England registration
-
Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified experience in fostering or kinship
-
Strong assessment and report writing skills
-
Confident working independently and as part of a team

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to process a new one)
