Embark on a journey where your expertise will be the cornerstone in developing, implementing, and upholding the People Commissioning function. Directly reporting to the Director of CPCM, your strategic oversight will ensure the Commissioning service performs at its zenith while fostering uniformity across all People commissioning activities.

Your collaboration with the Head of Service in Procurement & Contract Management is crucial, aligning resources to maximise efficiency. Your remit encompasses the full spectrum of people commissioning tasks, excluding procurement and contract management, demanding a robust approach to managing, administering, and coordinating all facets of the commissioning cycle.

Champion excellence by defining "what good looks like," crafting procedures to realise this vision, and disseminating policies, procedures, and guidelines pivotal to commissioning. Your guidance will be instrumental in harmonising commissioning activities, ensuring they are impactful and consistent.

As a mentor and leader, you will provide unwavering support, direction, and expert knowledge to the Commissioning Team. Your role is also to facilitate seamless communication across hub areas and to drive the service brokering process, leveraging market insights to match user needs with the ideal providers.

Your responsibilities extend to creating service design/specification documents, decommissioning services where necessary, and identifying replacements to meet user outcomes. Your analytical prowess will evaluate current offerings to identify enhancements required for achieving desired outcomes.
