Head of Service - Early Help and Prevention - London

Pay:  Up to £73,000 per Annum
Contract:  Permanent

 

Our client in London is currently looking for a Head of Service to join their Early Help and Prevention service on a permanent basis. This local authority is in a good place with stable teams and few locum staff in teams. Supportive management and low caseloads are also part of their offering.
As a Head of Service for this Early Help and Prevention team in London, you will need to have at least 2 years post qualifying experience in a similar role.


To be considered as a Head of Service for this role in London you will also need:


Social Work England Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Ideally some exposure to working in Young People/Youth Offending Services


You will be managing a number of Service Managers and working directly with the Council Leader to design and deliver a new young people's hub for the local authority. Part of a local police operation, you will be managing the project so will ideally have some experience working with young people who may have been involved with youth offending services.  Due to the Pandemic, home working is encouraged.
