Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for your next challenge? We are searching for an experienced social worker/Independent Reviewing Officer to join a leading Quality Assurance Team in Children's Services of a Local Authority in Kent as an Independent Reviewing Officer.

In this role, you will be responsible for chairing Child Protection Conferences and providing critical reviews of children and young people in care. By joining this team, you will be working with some of the most vulnerable members of society and making a real difference to their lives.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual with an in-depth understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures. You will have a good knowledge of current legislation and be able to draw upon this to inform your practice.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience as a qualified social worker and a minimum of one year's experience in a role related to Quality Assurance within Children's Services. You will also possess excellent communication skills and be a confident decision maker.
