Pay: up to £54,262 per annum dependent on experience, plus a £2000 Golden Hello and £2000 annual retention payment.

We are recruiting an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to join the Quality Improvement Service within Children's Services for a Local Authority within South East London.
In this role you will be the lead professional for reviews of Looked After Children, chairing and leading Child Protection Conferences and delivering a range of Children Services activities.
The successful candidate will have:
• Professional qualification in Social Work/Youth/Community Justice or similar
• Experience in leading and chairing Child Protection Conferences
• An understanding of current legislation and guidance concerning Looked After Children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to lead, motivate and inspire multi-disciplinary teams
• An understanding of quality improvement and service development
