Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker looking for a rewarding role in South London? We are seeking a qualified Adults Social Worker to join our dynamic Locality Team. If you’re committed to improving the lives of adults and their families, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload, supporting adults with varying needs, including older people, adults with physical disabilities, mental health needs, and learning disabilities.
- Carry out assessments, care planning, and safeguarding work to ensure individuals receive the best possible support.
- Work closely with other professionals, families, and carers to develop and implement care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Advocate for service users, ensuring their voice is central to all decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in line with statutory requirements.
- Contribute to the development of the service, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work England Registration – you must be a registered social worker with a recognised qualification.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Safeguarding procedures.
- Experience in working with adults in a social care setting, ideally within a local authority or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with service users and professionals.
- Ability to work independently, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
