Our Local Authority client in North London is currently looking for a Permanent Qualified Social Worker to join in their Child Protection team in Children's Services. This local authority is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their service and hit the ground running. There is plenty of support and supervision, but you will be allocated a caseload immediately. 

As a Permanent Qualified Social Worker on the Child Protection team in North London, you will need to have at least 2 Years post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

 To be considered as a Permanent Qualified Social Worker for this role in North London you will also need:

Social Work England Registration
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be completing Child Protection Investigation, working on long term cases, some of which will be in Court. There is a duty rota in place which you will be a part of, and you will be expected to sometimes work unsociable hours as the jobs require.
