Social Worker – Localities team – Herefordshire Council
Location: Herefordshire Council
Pay/Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Office Working: 2 Days per week
Contract: Permanent
We are currently working with Herefordshire Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Localities Team in the Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Herefordshire are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.
Herefordshire are also offering a healthy relocation bonus of £10,000 and a welcome bonus of £10,000.
A retention payment of £4000 is also included in your salary after a year of service
Duties
- Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
- Conducting Initial Assessments
- Working in a fast paced team
- Participate in strategy meetings where necessary
- Children and Family Assessments
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
