Pay: Up to £40 per hour

Manchester City Council is looking for an experienced Adult Safeguarding Practice Lead to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing safeguarding practice and ensuring that high-quality adult safeguarding services are delivered effectively. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to safeguard vulnerable adults and support the development of best practices across services.
As part of this role, you will need to attend the office multiple times per week. However, given the breadth of the role, we may not be able to accommodate office attendance on fixed days, and flexibility will be required to ensure the demands of the role are met.
What You’ll Need:

Social Work England Registration
-
Social Work Qualification
-
At least 3 years’ experience in Adult Safeguarding or related areas

Experience in supervising or leading practice in safeguarding

Strong understanding of statutory requirements and adult safeguarding legislation

The ability to lead a team and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Flexibility to attend the office multiple times per week as required, with potential variations in office attendance days
