Are you a dedicated and qualified Social Worker looking for a new challenge? We are working with a local authority in North London that is seeking passionate professionals to join their dynamic Assessment & Safeguarding Team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families while working in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake thorough assessments of children and families in need of support and protection.
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.
  • Work closely with multi-agency teams to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements.
  • Attend court proceedings and provide professional reports and evidence when necessary.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing service development.

Requirements:

  • Must be Social Work England registered.
  • A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in children's social care, preferably within an assessment or safeguarding team.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to child protection.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively, prioritizing urgent tasks.
  • Experience working in a local authority setting is desirable.
