Senior Social Worker – MASH Team
3-Month Fixed Term Contract | Office-Based
Solihull MASH is recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker. This role is vital in screening referrals and ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time through excellent threshold knowledge and multi-agency collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening referrals and managing demand within MASH timescales
- Applying threshold guidance to assess and support children and families effectively
- Attending strategy discussions to present information and contribute to multi-agency decision making
- Working collaboratively within the MASH team to support colleagues and partner agencies
- Maintaining clear and accurate written and verbal communication in a fast-paced environment
Working Arrangements:
- Office hours: Monday – Thursday 08:45am – 17:20, Friday 08:45am – 16:30
- Duty days generally require being office-based every other day
- Attendance in the office required for team meetings, service meetings, and other business needs
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- Previous experience working in a MASH team is essential
- Strong knowledge and application of threshold guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment
- Line management by MASH Team Lead
