To excel in this role, the following skills and experience are required:
- Registration with Social Work England, ensuring your practice meets the national standards.
- A robust understanding of the legislative framework surrounding children's social care, particularly pertaining to those aged 16 and above.
- Proven experience in children's services, with a focus on adolescents and young adults.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with a diverse range of individuals and professionals.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage a complex caseload with diligence and precision.
