Are you a qualified and experienced Social Worker looking for a challenging and rewarding role in Child Protection? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join the Children's Services team for the London Borough of Lambeth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families, while also advancing your career and earning up to £38.50 per hour.

As a Social Worker in the Child Protection team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing support to children and families in need. You will work closely with other professionals, such as health visitors, teachers, and police officers, to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk of harm. This role requires a strong understanding of child protection legislation and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified Social Worker with at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience in a similar setting. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build rapport with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Experience in court proceedings and writing court reports is also highly desirable.
