In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the wellbeing of children and young people, working closely with families and other professionals to promote a safe and nurturing environment. Your expertise will be crucial in managing complex cases, making informed decisions, and advocating for the needs of the most vulnerable in society.

The successful candidate will possess a recognised qualification in social work (DipSW, BA, MA, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. A robust understanding of the latest legislation and guidance within child protection is essential, as is a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes in a similar setting.

Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to build rapport with children, families, and multi-agency partners. A solution-focused approach, coupled with the ability to assess risks and plan effectively, will be key to your success in this role. Experience in court proceedings and report writing is highly desirable, as is a commitment to continuous professional development.
