Our client in Somerset is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their flourishing Safegarding team in Childrens Services. The role will involve holding a caseload of both CP and CIN cases 

They need a Qualified Social Worker that is ready to help vulnerable children and their families really succeed and affect change. There are lots of progression opportunities too, with regular panels in place for internal promotions. The Managers are there to help you achieve your goals as much as you are there to help them achieve theirs.

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in protecting children and vulnerable adults from harm. You will be responsible for assessing risks, creating care plans, and working closely with families and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough assessments of children and vulnerable adults at risk
• Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans
• Working collaboratively with families, schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies
• Participating in case conferences and multi-agency meetings
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records
• Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and partners

You will need to have at least completed an ASYE in Childrens Services to be eligible for this post in Somerset for a Qualified Social Worker.

As well as an ASYE, you also need:

•    Social Work England Registration
•    Social Work Qualification
•    Right to Work in the UK
