We are working with Milton Keynes Council, which is looking for a Social Worker to join its Children in Care team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, ensuring they receive the best care, support, and opportunities for a bright future.
As a Children in Care Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people who are in long-term care, developing their care plans, working with foster families, and preparing young people for independence. This role requires local and occasional longer-distance travel to visit children and families, ensuring the best possible support and outcomes.
What You’ll Need:

Social Work England Registration
-
Social Work Qualification
-
At least 2 years’ experience in Children’s Services

Experience in Court Proceedings, Looked After Children, and Care Planning

Strong relationship-building and advocacy skills
-
Flexibility to travel locally and occasionally further afield
