Are you a qualified Social Worker looking for an exciting new role in Children's Services? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join a Children in Care and Leaving Care Team for a Local Authority in South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people, while also advancing your career and earning up to £37 per hour.

As a Social Worker in this role, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to children and young people in care, as well as those transitioning into independent living. You will work closely with other professionals, such as foster carers, schools, and healthcare providers, to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people in your care. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and to participate in regular supervision and training sessions.

To be successful in this role, you must be Social Work England Registered and have a proven track record of working with children and young people in a social care setting. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience in statutory social work, including court work and child protection, is highly desirable.
