Responsibilities:
- Managing cases within court proceedings from initial hearing to final orders, and potentially to adoption
- Preparing and presenting high-quality court reports
- Providing evidence in court and working closely with legal professionals
- Developing and implementing care plans to support children and families throughout the court process
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the safety and well-being of children
- Supporting looked after children and those on Child Protection Plans
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- Proven experience in court work and child protection within children's services
- Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload
