Enfield Council is seeking a committed and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team. Key Responsibilities
- Hold and manage a caseload of children and families subject to safeguarding concerns
- Undertake child protection enquiries, assessments, and intervention planning
- Develop and implement care plans focused on positive outcomes
- Prepare and present reports for child protection conferences, reviews, and court proceedings
- Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
- Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment within Safeguarding services
Candidate Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Strong post-qualified experience in safeguarding/child protection services
- Knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and related legislation
- Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work confidently with complex cases and high-risk situations
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
