Responsibilities:

  • Conducting initial assessments and gathering information to make informed decisions regarding the safeguarding of children
  • Working closely with multi-agency partners, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a coordinated approach to child protection
  • Analyzing and interpreting complex information to identify risks and needs
  • Providing timely and accurate reports and recommendations based on assessment findings
  • Liaising with other social work teams to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care for children and families
  • Responding to referrals and inquiries efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding within children's services
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload
