Qualified Social Worker – Safeguarding – South East London

Role:  Qualified Social Worker
Location:  South East London
Team:  Safeguarding
Pay:  Up to £36 per hour
Contract:  Full Time Locum

Our Local Authority client in South East London is currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team in Children’s Services.  This local authority need experienced staff to help them through a period of busy caseloads.

As a Qualified Social Worker on the Safeguarding team in South East London, you will need to have at least 2 years post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Qualified Social Worker for this role in South East London you will also need:

HCPC Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be undertaking Child Protection investigations, writing reports for court and working directly with families and children on the child protection register.  There is a duty rota in place which you will be a part of, and you will be expected to sometimes work unsociable hours as the job requires.
