Qualified Social Worker – Looked After Children – Berkshire

Role:  Qualified Social Worker
Location:  Berkshire
Team:  Looked After Children
Pay:  Up to £38 per hour
Contract:  Full Time Locum

Our Local Authority client in Berkshire is currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Looked After Children team in Children’s Services.  This local authority have worked really hard over the last few years and have recently achieved "Good" in their Ofsted inspection.

As a Qualified Social Worker on the Looked After Children team in Berkshire, you will need to have at least 1 year post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Qualified Social Worker for this role in Berkshire you will also need:

HCPC Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be doing direct work with children placed in local authority care. As well as completing life story's with the children you will be expected to think outside of the box when it comes to creating new and inventive ways of engaging with them, to maximise your relationship.
