Qualified Social Worker – Children In Need – North West London

Role:  Qualified Social Worker
Location:  North West London
Team:  Children In Need
Pay:  Up to £34 per hour
Contract:  Full Time Locum

Our Local Authority client in North West London is currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Children In Need team in Children’s Services.  This local authority have worked really hard over the last few years and have recently achieved "Good" in their Ofsted inspection.

As a Qualified Social Worker on the Children In Need team in North West London, you will need to have at least 1 year post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Qualified Social Worker for this role in North West London you will also need:

HCPC Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be completing lifestory work with children in care, initiating care proceedings and travel will be involved when placing a child outside of their borough.  There is a duty rota in place which you will be a part of, and you will be expected to sometimes work unsociable hours as the job requires.
