Walsall Local Authority is looking for an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, assessing and managing risk to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely, thorough assessments, gathering and analyzing information from multiple agencies to make informed safeguarding decisions.

• Evaluate risk and determine the appropriate level of intervention to support vulnerable individuals and families.

• Work closely with social care, health, education, police, and other relevant agencies to ensure coordinated support.

• Develop and implement action plans to respond effectively to safeguarding concerns.

Requirements:

• A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.

• Demonstrated experience in safeguarding and working in a MASH or similar multi-agency environment.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
