Leicestershire Local Authority is seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team. This vital role focuses on providing protection and support to vulnerable adults and ensuring their safety and well-being within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive safeguarding assessments and implement interventions to protect at-risk individuals.

  • Lead on s42 safeguarding enquiries, ensuring appropriate measures and support are in place.

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute effective care and safety plans.

  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to clients, families, and other professionals involved in safeguarding.

Requirements:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification and active registration with Social Work England.

  • Proven experience in safeguarding within adult social work.

  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding practices, and risk management.
