Social Worker – Achieving for Children (AfC)

Achieving for Children (AfC) is a social enterprise delivering children’s services across Kingston, Richmond, and Windsor & Maidenhead. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of children in need and child protection cases

  • Undertake assessments and develop robust plans to support children and families

  • Work in partnership with families, schools, and other agencies to deliver holistic support

  • Participate in strategy discussions, child protection conferences, and core groups

  • Contribute to court work and prepare evidence-based reports where necessary

Candidate Requirements

  • Social Work England registration

  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified experience in frontline children’s services

  • Strong assessment and direct work skills

  • Able to work confidently in a hybrid setting

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to complete one)
