Registered Manager – Independent Fostering Agency – Birmingham

Role: Registered Manager
Location:  Birmingham
Pay:  Up to £50,000
Contract:  Full Time - Permanent

A brand new fostering agency in Birmingham is looking for an experienced Social Worker with a strong fostering background to lead their newly registered Independent Fostering Agency as the registered manager.

They need a talented social work manager that has previous experience dealing with OFSTED, ensuring that the agency policies are effective and up to date and making decisions to achieve the best outcome for both the foster carers and children with which the agency are working with.

There are lots of opportunities to put a personal stamp on this service as it is still in the early stages of development and the directors will look to you for further ways to expand and increase the service’s reach.

The directors are there to help you achieve your goals as much as you are there to help them achieve theirs.

You will need to have at least 3 years of experience in local authority fostering service as an assistant team manager/higher or a management role within an independent fostering agency to be eligible for this post in Birmingham as a Registered Manager.

You also need:

•    Social Work England Registration
•    Social Work Qualification
•    Right to Work in the UK
•    Be in the process of or be willing to undertake an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or an equivalent qualification
