Hillingdon Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker to join their Family Help Team. This role is ideal for a passionate practitioner who is committed to making a real difference to children and families through relationship-based and trauma-informed practice.
In this role, you will work within a locality-based model, supporting children and families at an early and statutory intervention level. You will bring strong safeguarding knowledge, work collaboratively with partners and communities, and contribute to high-quality, child-focused outcomes in line with the DfE Family First Partnership reforms.
What You’ll Need:
- Social Work England Registration
- Social Work Qualification
- Significant post-qualifying experience in statutory children’s social work
- Strong understanding of safeguarding duties and statutory responsibilities
- Commitment to relationship-based and trauma-informed practice
- Ability to work creatively, reflectively, and collaboratively within a team
- Confidence working closely with local communities and partner agencies
