We are working with a OFSTED rated 'Good' local authority in Berkshire, our client is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their flourishing Locality Service team in Childrens Services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work within the Children’s Safeguarding and Child Protection team to manage a complex caseload of children at risk.
- Conduct thorough assessments, formulate care plans, and ensure the delivery of effective interventions for children in need, children in care, and those on child protection plans.
- Work in partnership with families, carers, and professionals from a range of disciplines, including health, education, and law enforcement, to support families and safeguard children.
- Attend court proceedings and prepare detailed reports as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with legislative and departmental requirements.
- Ensure the timely review of cases, taking into consideration the child's voice and working to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

The role demands a proactive individual with a robust understanding of safeguarding policies and legislation. The primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate actions required to meet the needs of and ensure the safety of vulnerable children and adults. This includes collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, agencies, and service users to facilitate the best possible outcomes.
You will need to have at least completed an ASYE in Childrens Services to be eligible for this post in Berkshire for a Qualified Social Worker.
As well as an ASYE, you also need:
• 1+ years post qualifying experience
• Social Work England Registration
• Social Work Qualification
• Right to Work in the UK
