Bromley | Locum | £39.04 per hour | Hybrid Working
Bromley Council is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a fast-paced front door role focused on screening referrals, assessing risk, and ensuring children and families receive the right intervention at the earliest opportunity.
You will work within a multi-agency environment, collaborating with police, health, education, and other partners to make timely and informed safeguarding decisions.
In this role, you will:
- Screen and triage referrals into the MASH service
- Assess risk and make timely safeguarding decisions
- Work closely with multi-agency partners to gather and share information
- Provide professional judgement on thresholds and next steps
- Support less experienced social workers within the team
- Maintain accurate and high-quality case recordings
- Contribute to effective and timely service delivery
What You’ll Need:
- Social Work England Registration
- Social Work Qualification
- At least 3 years’ post-qualified experience in children’s social care
- Strong experience within MASH / Front Door services
- Confidence in decision-making and risk assessment
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
